More Murder In Minneapolis & St. Paul

Minneapolis Police are investigating a murder (#23?) which apparently happened just a few hours ago, and St. Paul Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a trunk. KARE 11 News reports: "Saint Paul, Minneapolis investigate killings".

Police in both the Twin Cities have new deaths to investigate, a shooting in Minneapolis and a mysterious death in Saint Paul

Homicide investigators spent the early-morning hours at the scene of a double shooting in north Minneapolis.

It happened around 2:45 Friday morning at the intersection of 2nd Street north and 21st Avenue north, not far from the bar Stand Up Frank's.

Police say one victim was found shot to death inside a vehicle. A second person was also injured. That victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, but there is no word on the extent of that person's injuries.

Police are still looking for suspects.
The situs of the killing and assault is purportedly outside of the Safe Zone.

Things are no better across the river:

Across town, a Saint Paul neighborhood was shaken after a gruesome discovery was made on one of their streets.

A women's body was found in the trunk of a car Thursday night parked near the intersection of Fuller Avenue and Dale Street.

Neighbors called police after they noticed a strange smell coming from the 1988 Buick sedan, but they never expected what they found inside.
The summer is heating up, folks. Where are the city leaders?
