The Minneapolis Police SAFE Unit has issued a Crime Alert following a robbery of person as follows:

On Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at 01:39 am a robbery of person occurred at Bryant Ave S. & Franklin Ave W.

Here is the public information from the report:

Victim was walking home when an unknown suspect attempted to take her purse after knocking her to the ground. Victim fought off the suspect who is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, 20-35 years old, 5’ to 6’tall, thin build, black short hair, wearing a white short sleeve t-shirt and dark pants. Suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

It's really hit the fan this week, folks. Life in the Minneapolis Red Zone can be cruel.
