Crime Alert: Robbery of Person

The Minneapolis Police SAFE Unit has issued an Advisory Crime Alert dated May 22, 2006 on a robbery of person from May 21, 2006:

On Sunday May 21, 2006 at about 9:45 pm, a Robbery of Person took place near 38th St and Blaisdell Av S.

Here is the Public Info from this event [Ed. - "Event"?];

“Victim was riding bicycle EB on 38th approaching Blaisdell when she was pushed off of bike and onto ground. Suspect then took victm's purse containing keys, ID, checks, and gift certificate. Suspect fled SB on Blaisdell with the victim's purse.

SUSPECT: B/M, MID 20'S+, 6'0" 200, DARK SHIRT, DARK PANTS.

The victim was concerned about her home and was transported there to check on it. AOK. Victim was given a blue card.”
A person can't ride their bicycle in the City of Minneapolis anymore without getting mugged, at least in the Red Zone anyway.
