2nd Minneapolis Murder Of The Day

I'll start with the 2nd murder of the day in Minneapolis, as it just took place hours ago. Fox 9 TV News at 9:00 reported the crime, and KSTP Eyewitness News also reports here: "Man shot, killed in north Minneapolis".

Minneapolis police are confirming that a man was shot and killed on the city’s North Side Wednesday evening.

Police say the shooting occurred on the 600 block of Thomas Ave. N, near Olson Memorial Highway.

The man had been shot multiple times, and was transported to North Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Witnesses tell police they saw two shooters flee the scene in recent-model, light colored vehicle.

The murder occurred only hours after a shooting death earlier Wednesday in south Minneapolis.

Anyone with further information about the crime is urged to call the Minneapolis Police Department's TIPS line, at 612-693-8477.
On Fox 9 television news, Lt. Lee Edwards said the victim was hunted down and shot in someone's yard. In other words, it was a crime of complete depravity.

Suspects remain at large.
