Criminal Gangs Terrorize St. Paul

KSTP News reports a disturbing spate of violence in St. Paul allegedly by gang criminals.

These thugs are not above shooting up houses and terrorizing women and children, as in this story: "Violence from St. Paul home invasion spread ".

Five suspects held a woman and her four children at gunpoint during a violent home invasion in a St. Paul neighborhood, police say.

A home just a few houses away was also riddled with bullets from the same group of suspects.

The five suspects were armed with guns when they kicked in the door of the first home. They then demanded money from a woman who was home, and woke up her four children at gunpoint.

The suspects then fled and fired shots, at least one of which went through the roof of Vonita Hoffer’s home.
The police report that the home invasion victims were not known by the criminals. If true, this type of random crime is particularly serious and needs to be stopped now.

Hoffer says she is concerned about safety after the incident.

"You think you're safe in your own home, but unless you have a brick home its not going to stop bullets,” she says.

Police say the suspects do not know the home invasion victims.

The two men in custody are known gang members.

Police are still searching for two to three other suspects.
There seems to be no end to the number of gangsters that do their business in the metro area. It's going to be a long, hot summer in the Twin Cities unless the authorities institute a no-holds-barred crackdown on the criminal scum who seem intent on taking control of our neighborhoods.
