On the lam

You may recall this earlier Rambix post regarding the driver who left a woman and her unborn child to die by the side of the road following a car crash in Minneapolis.

Now a suspect has been identified, and is on the lam, possibly making a run for the border. Here's a news release from the Minneapolis Police Department:

Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Accident

(Minneapolis, MN January 3, 2006) An arrest warrant has been issued for Javier Flores LUIS, aka: Enriquez Flores, Luis Flores, DOB: 05/08/1978. LUIS is believed to have been the driver of a single car accident which happened at East 41st Street and 3rd Avenue South on December 25, 2005. A woman and her unborn child were killed in that accident.

LUIS is described as a Latino male, 5’7”, 145 lbs, brown eyes, and black hair.
The Hennepin County warrant was issued for Criminal Vehicular Homicide (Felony).
LUIS is not in custody. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of LUIS is asked to call the Minneapolis Police Department’s tips line @ 612-692-TIPS (8477).
