Minneapolis school follies

Somebody should do a doctoral thesis on the dysfunctional city council, school board, and the mayoral bureaucracy in Minneapolis. The liberals cannot manage things by themselves. They are hell-bent on destroying what is left of a once fine city.

Now they're turning up the heat even further on school superintendent Thandiwe Peebles. Rambix has posted on this saga previously here "Minneapolis schools - will the last one out turn off the lights?" and here "Got Her Mind Right, She Did...". Now the school officials are spending more taxpayer dollars "investigating" Ms. Peebles, as reported here:

Minneapolis school officials Wednesday announced that they have retained an outside attorney to investigate allegations of misconduct made against Superintendent Thandiwe Peebles.
The alleged "misconduct" is not identified.

The close reader will recall that Ms. Peebles was selected by the school board following a nationwide search, to great acclaim and joy. They pushed to the wayside an eminently qualified administrator, David Jennings, because he represented the white male establishment, and he is (or at least used to be) a *gasp* Republican. So they got what they wanted, and now this.

Rambix can't even tell who the good guys and the bad guys are here, but the best working theory is that the lot of them are useless. Why must liberals always learn the hard way?
