One year old terrorist?

Today's St. Paul Pioneer Press has an AP story titled "Babies caught up in 'no-fly' confusion".

Infants have been stopped from boarding planes at airports throughout the U.S. because their names are the same as or similar to those of possible terrorists on the government's "no-fly list."
The reporter interviews Ingrid Sanden, whose one year old daughter was stopped at an airport in Phoenix, apparently due to a similar name as that of someone on the no-fly list. The mother gives a common-sense quote that sums up a lot of our travel security problems stemming from political correctness:

"I completely understand the war on terrorism, and I completely understand people wanting to be safe when they fly," Sanden said. "But focusing the target a little bit is probably a better use of resources."
Ingrid, you've said this better than many others. Ingrid didn't think she and her daughter looked too dangerous:

"It was bizarre," Sanden said. "I was hugely pregnant, and I was like, 'We look really threatening.'"
Not the typical profile of a terrorist. Why are we spending time and resources to stop Ingrid and her one year old daughter, when there are real threats to worry about?
