That warm and fuzzy feeling

Two items appear in the Red Star Metro section today, guaranteed to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling. First, we learn that the now-deceased bank robber who tried to kill two police officers was a Level 2 sex offender:

The man killed by Minneapolis police Monday after he stabbed two officers was a Level 2 sex offender wanted by Anoka County authorities.

Read his sordid history here, then thank the officers for snatching him out of the hands of a liberal judge who would give him 15 years of probation.

And next, the tragedy of a fallen Marine reveals a brave and wonderful surviving wife, Leandra Opskar:

"There are no regrets," she said. "My husband died so that every breath we take is free."

May God bless this woman and may her husband rest in peace. He was everything that the anti-American left is not.
