Martin Andrade's advice to new bloggers
Martin Andrade has some good advice on his blog for new, up-and-coming bloggers. One of the suggestions is to visit liberal blogs:
While there's no question that flamewars are fun, visiting liberal blogs is not appealing. Rambix has ventured into the more well-known leftist screeds, such as the Daily Kos and Wonkette, and while it's eye-opening to see how the often vile and sophomoric left thinks, it's difficult to read. They just don't think like normal people.
That said, Martin's advice is probably good. It's good to know your opponent. Rambix will make a concerted effort to survey the enemy camps on occasion and report back, so you don't have to!
One thing I like to do is frequent liberal blogs and get into flamewars in their comments section. This is fun, and it typically will get you a few extra hits a day.
